Careful analysis
Start with the reporting question, keep later observations outside a forecast test and compare the result with a sensible baseline before recommending its use.

Quanta Meridian is a founder-led reporting and analytics practice helping organisations make reports clearer, quicker to update and easier to maintain. We prepare data, rebuild workbooks, agree measures and create focused Power BI reports, with enough clarity for another person to update the result and explain the numbers.
Why the disciplines connect
SQL, Python, Power Query, Excel, Power BI and workflow tools play different roles. The working discipline is consistent: define the record, test the rule and show who decides what happens next.
Start with the reporting question, keep later observations outside a forecast test and compare the result with a sensible baseline before recommending its use.
See how the forecast was testedTurn the agreed rule into a working report or review process that shows the affected record, the check and the person responsible for the next decision.
Follow one invoice through reviewLeave definitions, checks, owners and follow-up actions together so another person can refresh the report, explain a figure and continue the review.

Each selection links to the original workbook, report, code or data available for inspection, along with the important checks and a clear account of what the example does not cover.
A wholesale distributor needs sales, purchasing, stock and margin reports to use the same customers, products, dates and totals. The build prepares Microsoft’s Wide World Importers sample so those reports draw from the same history.
Built and checked locally. All 18 controls pass, and a clean rebuild produces the same outputs.Accounts Payable receives the supplier invoice, Procurement holds the approved order and the warehouse records what arrived. The contained reviewer workflow preserves every question, response, rematch and final decision.
Built and checked with SQL and Python. All 27 controls and 19 tests pass, and a clean rebuild produces the same outputs.A service planner needs to know where completed departures may rise before the next operating shift. The build keeps station-hour history, forecast notice, uncertainty and later observed demand together so high-error stations can be reviewed.
The Python and DuckDB analysis passes seven checks, uses rolling time splits and rebuilds consistently. It is not a deployed forecast.A long monthly status pack is replaced by six pages that explain performance, four material exceptions, three decisions and named follow-up actions.
The supporting workbook agrees with the six-page PowerPoint and PDF pack. What the examples establish
The examples demonstrate working methods on attributed public data or purpose-built example records. They show how a question is framed, records are prepared, results are tested and one record is traced into a decision.
They do not claim client delivery, production deployment, measured savings, revenue, certification or business impact. Each example states its own data and execution limits beside the report, workbook or analysis. The page does not invent client names, testimonials, employers or a company history.
Founder experience
Relevant experience covers performance reporting, assurance review and data preparation, including recurring management packs, KPI definitions and the practical use of Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SQL, Python and SharePoint.
The working discipline is to define the decision and grain before choosing a tool, reconcile critical totals, retain failed records and make ownership visible. A passing calculation is useful review evidence; it does not by itself mean the report should be published or that a business outcome has been achieved.
Where the practices meet
In the monthly operating review example, an exception is connected to the supporting figure, the agreed action, its owner and the next review. That is where careful analysis becomes useful delivery that another person can continue.
Six concise pages move from position and exceptions to decisions, agreed actions and the next review.

A short, non-confidential outline is enough for the first conversation. There is no need to choose a tool or translate the problem into Quanta Meridian terminology.
